Back to Yes Mediation, LLC was founded by Ms. Melissa Back, J.D., in early 2012. Although Ms. Back is a licensed Attorney in the State of Texas, she is following her passion and practicing as a Mediator & Arbitrator instead. Ms. Back is a Texas Credentialed Advanced Mediator, who has mediated hundreds of cases. Ms. Back is a bi-lingual mediator (Spanish), well-versed in intercultural and interpersonal communications, and happy to assist you with your or your client’s commercial/civil mediation or divorce mediation.
Ms. Back is thrilled to be an Adjunct Professor at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, where she is co-teaching an upper level course, Global Conflict Management, with Dr. Barbara Manousso. It's her great pleasure to be a professor and teacher to upcoming, young professionals.
Ms. Back is on the panel of mediators for various District Court and County Court judges in the greater Houston area. She mediates for such organizations as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and Houston area Dispute Resolution Centers (DRC). Ms. Back was recently awarded a 5-year Federal Contract position with the EEOC, Houston Regional District Office. Work-place mediation is one her specialties.
Additionally, she currently the Membership Chair and President-Elect for the Board of Directors of the Association for Conflict Resolution, Houston 
Chapter. Ms. Back brings fresh energy to mediations and conflict resolution lectures replete with sensitivity toward differences, as well as notable enthusiasm to help the parties and the community.
